Normandy and Brittany 2019

In 2019 we only took a one month trip abroad and wishing to reduce the mileage covered we stayed in Normany and Brittany from mid May to mid June. We had mostly good weather and stayed at a mix of campsites mostly ACSI Camping Card low season discount and many aires some free.
We travelled to the south coast to take the Brittany Ferries Poole to Cherbourg daytime sailing and returned from Dieppe to Newhaven, our favourite crossing.

After exploring the Cotentin Peninsula for a few days we headed along the northern coast of Brittany retracing our route of several years ago until we reached Lannion. We turned inland to visit several villages, then down to the southern coast near Benodet. From there we headed east, stopping at several new (to us) small seaside resorts and also the larger inland towns Auray, Vannes, Redon and Vitré before heading back through Normandy to the channel coast at Dieppe.
